The meeting started with a conversation on key priorities and opportunities for the region, with members taking part in a workshop around developing strategic messaging that aligns with these opportunities. Following this, Scottish Government then spoke on their Programme for Government commitment.
REP members were then presented with an overview of work happening across the South of Scotland in relation to community benefits. The meeting finished with updates on the REP’s key priorities: skills, transport and housing, along with an update on the REP’s Delivery Plan.
