The South of Scotland Regional Economic Partnership (REP) met online on 20 March 2026.
The meeting opened with a presentation on clean heat transition services and support, which ties into a number of actions in the Regional Economic Strategy’s Delivery Plan. Members were very engaged in the discussion which highlighted opportunities for the South of Scotland, including the development of the low carbon workforce to take advantage of Net Zero ambitions.
Members heard about national funding opportunities and continued the conversation on the Scottish Government proposals for empowering regional economic partnerships.
The agenda also included updates on progress being made on the REP’s key priorities: skills, transport and housing, along with report on actions in the REP’s three-year Delivery Plan.
