The South of Scotland Regional Economic Partnership (REP) met at the Cairndale Hotel, Dumfries on 9 June 2025.  

Partners presented an update on the regional economy in the South of Scotland and there was a discussion about key priorities and opportunities for the region. Following this, REP members were presented with updates on the REP’s three Key Priorities: Skills, Transport and Housing, as well as the recently formed South of Scotland Regional Land Use Partnership.   

The REP also had the opportunity to hear about the new Screen Strategy, a key deliverable from Action 4 of their refreshed Delivery Plan.  Members also took part in a workshop to shape how they will measure the impact of the partnership’s work through cornerstone indicators.
